Washington County opens first of its kind center for abuse survivors in the US

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) —Washington County opened the first facility in the country to offer medical, legal, advocacy, and therapeutic childcare services in one location.

The facility, called the Family Peace Center, opened on Thursday in Hillsboro on Northeast Compton Drive, with the goal of being a one-stop shop for survivors of domestic, sexual and child abuse.
