Family Justice Center Of Washington County to Become Family Peace Center as Construction Progresses

Beaverton, Ore. (October 16, 2025) – The Family Justice Center of Washington County (FJCWC) has announced it will transition to a new name—the Family Peace Center of Washington County (FPCWC)—as part of its move to a new purpose-built, trauma-informed facility set to open in spring 2026. The new center will become the country’s first facility to integrate domestic and sexual violence services, child abuse medical care, law enforcement, housing support, mental health care, and a therapeutic preschool—all under one roof—for both adult and child survivors. The result is a transformative model for prevention, intervention, healing, and hope for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. The organization’s name change reflects a growing vision: to respond to domestic violence and abuse and to help families thrive in the aftermath, ultimately preventing violence before it starts.
